LIBRARY

The Marignoli di Montecorona Foundation houses an extensive library in the field of Art History from the Middle Ages to the 19th-century. The Library consists of about 35,000 books, contains many rare and unusual publications and a fundamental section on artist monographs.

When the cataloguing and shelving is completed, an online catalogue will be available. Once its current reorganization is finalized, it will be available for study by researchers.  Admission shall be offered to successful grant applicants and other researchers may be admitted with a letter of introduction from an institution.

The Library also contains a section on the Hawaiian monarchy that is probably the most complete in Italy, and a small but important section on the work of the artist Filippo Marignoli.
